I am currently a primary school teacher with 2 years of experience in year 4 and 3 years of experience teaching in year 6. I am currently the maths subject lead at my school and have a wealth of training and experience regarding maths. I have recently taken part in an OFSTED review which involved a deep dive into maths, resulting in an outstanding rating for the curriculum. I have also been part of an external writing moderation and have had extensive training in assessing writing. When completing my teacher training I completed it with a maths specialism. I have a wealth of experience working with children with additional needs both in the school setting as well as a part-time job working as a play worker at a day centre for children with additional needs. This involved playing with the children as well as providing support for families.
